• Frequently Asked Questions

Can I benefit from chiropractic care?

A lot of people seek chiropractic care for pain relief from musculoskeletal issues such as headaches, neck pain, back pain, sciatica etc, but because chiropractic works through the spine to improve the function of the nervous system (which controls the function of the entire body), many people get help with so many different issues from improved mood, to sleep and immunity. Chiropractic care can help improve overall function and quality of life.

What do I need to know / do before my first visit?

After scheduling your initial visit to Flourish Chiropractic, our staff will email specific paperwork tailored to your individual health goals. We ask that you provide as much detail in your paperwork about your specific needs. This will help the doctor connect with who you are and help us serve you. Please have the paperwork filled out before your first visit to the office and bring it to your appointment.

You do not need special clothing to get adjusted. You can feel free to wear whatever clothing feels comfortable to you. Keep in mind that tight-fitting dresses or skirts might be somewhat restrictive with certain adjusting positions.

How do you adjust the spine?

We perform chiropractic adjustments to correct any misalignments of the spine. This can be done using a variety of techniques to suit different people from babies, kids, pregnant women & adults. We have the option of manual techniques using our hands, using the drop functionality of the adjusting table or an instrument such as the "Arthro-stim" or a combination.

    Do you take insurance?

We do NOT work directly with any insurance providers. One of the main reasons is that this gives us the opportunity to give you the best care recommendations and not be bound by the recommendations put forth by your insurance company. Our practice is here to serve you and make sure you get more out of your care so you can achieve your wellness goals

No matter what the situation is, we work hard to make the care affordable for our practice members. We offer several cash-based payment options including cash, check, credit/debit, HSA/FSA cards, Zelle, Venmo, Cashapp etc. We also have a membership plan with "Chiro Health USA." Members and their dependents are entitled to similar “in-network” discounts just like the insurance companies. With this, we find that our prices are often less than or similar to what you would typically pay with insurance.

    • First visit fees run between $60-$100 (Adults) and $40-$100 (Children 18 years old & under)
    • Established visit / ongoing adjustment fees run between $40-$50 (Adults) and $30-$50 (Children)
    • Access to the discounted fees requires membership with Chiro Health USA. They charge a $49 fee yearly and the application takes just a few minutes to fill out on your 1st visit.

Do you only see pregnant women & children?

Absolutely NOT! We love to see the ENTIRE family! At Flourish Chiropractic, we have extensive training in pediatrics and prenatal care, which sets us apart from other practices. We highly encourage individuals from all walks of life to come in and get adjusted.

    Is chiropractic safe during pregnancy?

Not only is chiropractic care completely safe during pregnancy, Flourish Chiropractic highly encourages you to choose a Webster Certified chiropractor as part of your birth team! Often times, our pregnant moms under chiropractic care have more comfortable pregnancies, easier and shorter labor times, less pelvic restriction and therefore more room for baby to freely move and grow naturally. Chiropractic care can also help with sciatica and round ligament pain as the body is constantly adapting to the changes throughout the stages of pregnancy.

We have special equipment to accommodate the growing belly of our pregnant moms from our comfortable adjusting pillows to our breakaway abdominal section of the adjusting table. We make sure that mom is safe, supported and comfortable while getting adjusted.

What is the Webster technique and how will it benefit me during pregnancy?

The Webster Technique is a specialized certification offered through the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association. Webster Technique is a specific chiropractic analysis and adjustment for the pelvis and surrounding ligaments. This technique helps facilitate the mother’s neuro-biomechanical function in the pelvis and relieves any intrauterine constraint caused by torsion or tension. Webster technique during pregnancy can help allow more space for baby to grow and move into optimal position to prepare for the birth process.

Can children benefit from chiropractic care?

Absolutely! We get kids' eyes checked, teeth checked, growth & development checked, so why not their spines which are integrally connected to their nervous system, the most important system in the body???Many parents are choosing to be proactive with their children’s health, rather than reactive. Chiropractic is both proactive and preventative when it comes to wellness. Pediatric chiropractic care is safe, gentle, and helps children function more optimally and adapt better to life's stressors. Many of our practice members have their babies checked at birth. Our office focuses on making sure your child has a properly functioning nervous system, creating health from the start of life!

Once I start chiropractic care, do I have to come forever?

At Flourish Chiropractic, we don't hold you hostage because we know that wellness, like anything else in life is a choice. We believe that our care should be utilized as long as chiropractic is serving you. Our practice members typically choose to stay under care to elevate their health and maintain their wellness because of the way they feel and function after their visits to the office. Our practice understands the importance of an open and free neuro-spinal system allowing optimal communication and connection. We look forward to serving you and your family wherever you are in your wellness journey!
